The Healthy Communities Partnership of Southwestern Indiana is very much involved in the Million Hearts Campaign, sponsored by several public/private groups including the American Heart Association and the YMCA. It is the goal of this consortium during its 5-year commitment to secure a greater commitment and participation from organizations large and small to alert the public to good practices to improve heart health.
Eat Well, Live Well Pike County is a strong supporter of this initiative--heart/whole body health is key in making the folks in our county feel better and live better.
